It was 1925 when Giovanni Del Fra’, following the work of his father, assumed the leadership of a small confectionery shop.
From the workshop started out true delicacies of Abruzzo, the result of a centuries-old tradition. He continued with passion and meticulous art for he had become an extraordinary witness of tradition. Today would be pleased that “Lu Furnarille” is still there and today represents an important point of reference for people who love Vastese tradition in kitchen. It was also glad to see his loved products reach the world thanks to the new e-shop.

La Pupa e il Cavallo sono due delizie della centenaria tradizione dolciaria abruzzese, morbidi impasti di cacao miele e mandorle. La memoria storica fa risalire queste prelibatezze al milleottocento, alle feste Pasquali e allo scambio fra fidanzati e sposi. questi doni, antichi quanto gli abiti tradizionali delle donne d'Abruzzo, sono sempre stati augurio di fertilita' e prosperita'. Ancora oggi questi dolci sono gioia per i piu' piccini e delizia per i grandi.

Ingredienti: Farina di GRANO tenero di tipo 00, miele, zucchero, MANDORLE tostate, cioccolato fondente extra (cacao 53% min.) (zucchero, pasta di cacao, burro di cacao, estratto di vaniglia, emulsionante: lecitina di SOIA), acqua, scorza di limone grattugiato, cacao in polvere, olio di semi di girasole, UOVA, agente lievitante: bicarbonato di ammonio, glassa 10% : cioccolato fondente extra (cacao 53% min.)
